Abrasive Wheels Instructor Training
This advanced abrasive wheels instructor module is ideal for those who already have experience with wheel operations and now wish to train others in wheel safety. It focuses on teaching methods, course delivery techniques, and how to assess learner competence. Participants will gain confidence in delivering abrasive wheel training safely and effectively, following national safety standards and regulations.
Wheels Safety and Operation
The course provides in-depth knowledge of wheels safety, including the correct mounting, balancing, and use of abrasive wheels in various settings. Trainees learn how to inspect wheels for wear, identify defects, and understand the mechanical stresses that occur during operation. This ensures a safer workplace where every operator can manage abrasive wheel use confidently.
Certification and Practical Skills
Upon completion, candidates receive an Abrasive Wheels Certificate, recognising their ability to provide abrasive training and operate abrasive equipment safely. The programme takes place in a fully equipped training centre, where participants develop hands-on skills in abrasive handling, instruction, and supervision, preparing them to deliver compliant and effective safety training within their organisation.
